Welcome to Old Stone Vets

We are a truly mixed veterinary practice in the North Pennines. This means that all of our vets are able to examine and treat pretty much all species of animal. And on top of that, we do it 24hrs a day. Our caseload varies from a rabbit with overgrown teeth, to sick puppies, from a cow calving at midnight, to a lamb with a broken leg. We cover it all as a first opinion GP veterinary practice. This is what we do, and we love it.

What we do

Farm Animals

Within our area, game bird work at certain times of the year allows us to assist the local gamekeepers and estate managers in the welfare and disease monitoring and prevention within their young flocks.
